Westinghouse is currently seeking a Software Engineer within the Nuclear Automation Organization.
An Engineer in this role can expect to perform, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Perform Software Engineering of moderately complex I&C Systems
- Produce engineering software requirements, code and documentation for PLC based I&C systems.
Interface with other members of the group as well as other PMS groups to ensure coding requirements are clearly defined and implemented. Specific Desired Skills A successful candidate would meet the following requirements:
- Process control system design, implementation and test experience.
- Experience in the design and configuration of PLC application software including the development of software requirements, code generation, documentation and software testing.
- PLC or process control experience, capable of understanding complex distributed control systems.
- Design experience with nuclear power plant protection systems or other I&C systems utilizing fail-safe design features.
- Knowledge of I&C and related engineering activities.
- Knowledge of requirement traceability methodologies.

- Typically 0-3 years experience
- Travel Requirements:
- Candidate may be required to travel to domestic and international sites.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
