ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable growth within the organization. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to industry standards.
Responsibilities will also cover: documentation, daily monitoring, user level support, system backups, system recovery, hardware purchasing and configuration, peripheral support, directory storage and printers, patches, antivirus and antimalware.

Operations Support Maintenance
1. Daily system monitoring, ensure integrity and availability.
2. Log analysis
3. Ensure Backups are running and contain valid data.
4. Regular security monitoring identify intrusion points and risks.
5. Manage off-site backups for critical data
6. Manage user account 7. Manage all recovery scenarios
Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
2. (2-4) years Systems Administration / System Engineer ~certification in Unix and Microsoft a +
3. Strong Helpdesk skills, ~ability to work with non-technical staff a +
4. Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships
Other Expectations
1. Availability during off hours, nights and weekends for support and troubleshooting
2. Ability to work at a high level remotely if problems arise when building is closed.
3. Ability to work a set schedule onsite Monday-Friday 8:00 – 4:30
