TFPP is currently hiring a Software Engineer to work in our Westminster MA office. This position is for an entry to intermediate level PC software engineer who will participate on new software development as well as enhancements to existing software for our Care Communications System under the supervision of a senior engineer. The candidate must be technically competent and quick to learn new technologies.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Effective Communication skills, oral and written English
- Solid understanding of software development & software processes.
- Possess ability to estimate work effort and meet key milestones in the development process.
- Ability to work indepentently as well as organize, plan and lead various tasks or parts of a project.
- Previous experience developing applications for Windows using Visual Studio 6 or greater preferred
- Experienced in VB6 and C/C++
- Experience with .NET, C#, XML, Windows sockets and multi-threading is a plus
- Experience with real-time software application and systems design and development is a plus.
- Experience with change management policies and procedures also helpful
