We are currently seeking Software Engineers to join our talented group of software developers. In this role, you will design and develop scalable web applications for our high volume eCommerce site.
Essential Job Functions include:
- Create and maintain clear code on assigned projects.
- Create and maintain clear documentation on projects and tasks.
- Participate in and contribute to software development strategy discussions.
- Assist with problem solving, design and code reviews and related software meetings.
- Gather, document, and interprets user requirements and organize into development tasks.
- Report to management on the status of project progress.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing systems.
- Participate in conference calls with clients and partners as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer related discipline or equivalent years of work experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in software development either in an academic setting or in a similar position.
- Practical experience with web-based development and deployment (LAMP/AJAX).
- Proven experience developing software design and development strategies.
- Strong command of OO design patterns and OO development in general.
- Strong command of ECMA compliant languages.
- Strong command of XML.
- Knowledge of revision control processes and methods of coordinating efforts across the team.
- Highly motivated, strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
