Duties and Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibilities for this position is to provide development support of an upgrade to an existing SW framework. Individual will be part of the Software Development Team.
Required Skills and Education:
- Must meet the minimum requirements for the OCEANSURF Software Engineer/Program Analyst labor category
- 5+ years object-oriented Java software development
- Experience with REST technologies, including developing REST end-points
- Experience with XML and XML parsing
- Experience working with XML schemas
- Experience developing GUIs using Java
- Experience doing development in a Unix/Linux environment
- Strong aptitude for learning and implementing new technologies
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
