Description
Design, maintain, and update MS Access databases based on customer requirements. Modify and rework tools as necessary to meet customer requirements. Will be responsible for converting databases from one version of MS Access to another, and importing an MS Access database into a SQL Server database.
General Knowledge of the Configuration Management process to include License, Data and Customer Service/Process). Work directly with CM managers to produce ad-hoc and automated reports from a custom in-house tool.
Qualifications
B.S. in CS, MIS or related, and 20+ years of experience in technology systems design, maintenance, and support.
- Experience with MS Access and SQL Server.
- MS Access database programming and script writing in a language such as Windows Scripting Host, VB Scripting, or JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications to be used to create or edit Excel Macros and MS Access Database programming.
- Security files and how security files work with MS Access
