Project Manager Jobs - CGI, Moncton, NB

Position summary:
  • Reporting to the Project Director, this candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects throughout all phases. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Negotiating and initiating projects, including development of budgets, resource plans and statements of work
  • Lead projects with full accountability for contract management, project financials, client relationships, and service delivery quality
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives within our client organizations
  • Report on delivery status to executive bodies within the client organization and within CGI
  • Manage and mentor project managers and other senior delivery consultants
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Contribute to CGI project management practices and mentor more junior project managers
  • Required Level of Education:
  • PMP Certified Relevant Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience 


Must Have - Technical 
Skills:
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Project Manager with progressively complex projects
  • Must have a background in software application development, integration and infrastructure projects
  • Must have proven experience in initiating new projects and controlling projects (scope, risk and issue management, status reporting at all levels, planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling)
  • Must have experience with MS Project. Must have strong understanding and with quality methodologies
  • Nice to Have - Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working within ISO and/or CMMI environments.
  • Experience working within a consulting environment would be an asset.
