Embedded Software Developer needed for a long term position at a major networking hardware, firmware, software, services company having a product engineering facility in Durham, NC. Initial contract is for 6 months with extension or possible conversion to permanent anticipated. Must be a highly motivated self-starter; able to use your own initiative, drive decisions and create direction.
Required Skills Include:
- C Embedded development 7 years.
- VXWorks or Linux.
- Some combination of experience with writing protocol stacks using: OSPF, or RIP, or BGP.
- Prior experience with similar companies such as Cisco or IBM would be very helpful.
- Requires a bachelors degree in an engineering related field or equivalent experience.
