Software Engineer Jobs - Infoscitex Corporation - Dayton, OH - Infoscitex is seeking a mid-level software engineer to condcut software development activities for our Air Force customer in the area of sensor technology evaluation and assessment. The person in this position will work on a software development team designing and developing of algorithms, models / simulations, software “utilities” and tools, visualization tools, and systems to analyze the performance of sneosr technologies and concepts. The person needs to be a good team player, with the ability to work with other scientists and engineers to develop the capabilities for advanced technology analysis and development. The person should be self-motivated and able to identify a problem, to formulate the problem, and then to solve the problem with minimal supervision and direction.
Serve as a software developer to include the development of a software architecture, design and develop algorithms, models / simulations, software “utilities” and tools, visualization tools, and systems. Others duties include testing software, assisting analyses, documenting software, preparing technical reports, publishing technical papers, and writing proposals.
Required Skills: (List by priority)
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field
- Cross platform C/C++ development
- Working knowledge of and experience in computational modeling and simulation (e.g., modeling and simulation of air vehicle systems or sensors)
- Effective English communication ability, both verbally and in writing
- U.S. citizen; must qualify for Secret security clearance
Desired:
- Radar, missile, battle management model experience
- Experience with Linux
- Cross platform GUI development with QT
- Experience with Distributed Simulation Technologies including DIS
- ACE network development
- MATLAB development
